Debra “Deb” R. Kalenberg

Obituary

Debra “Deb” Ruth Kalenberg was born on March 18, 1960, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Herbert and Ruth (Helmer) Kalenberg. Deb was baptized as an infant on April 10, 1960, received her first communion on May 25, 1970, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on March 25, 1973, all at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart, Minnesota. She received her education in Stewart, and was a graduate of the Stewart High School class of 1978.

Deb was blessed with two children, Lisa and Chad. She made her home in Hutchinson, where she was employed at HTI and then 3M. Deb was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson.

Deb enjoyed spending time outdoors and loved to go camping. She also loved taking trips to the casino, and bringing her dog, Ike with her wherever she went. Debra especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Deb passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at her home in Hutchinson, at the age of 65 years.
