Service Information
Delores Bumgardner, age 102, of Hector, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017, at the Rice Care Center in Willmar.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. at the Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hector.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, to be held for one hour prior to the service, all at the Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel.
Interment will be held in Mound Cemetery in Le Sueur, Minnesota.
Arrangements are with Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hector.
Obituary
Delores Elizabeth Bumgardner was born April 11, 1915, in Brookfield Township, Renville County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of George and Elizabeth (Katzenmeyer) Bumgardner. Delores grew up in Brookfield Township, and attended the Churchill School. She moved into Hector, and was employed with Dickman Drug. She enjoyed several hobbies, which included growing flowers, painting, and singing in the First Lutheran Church choir.
On Sunday evening, October 22, 2017, Delores passed away at the Rice Care Center in Willmar, having reached the age of 102 years. Blessed be her memory.
Delores is survived by her nieces, Marian White and her husband Weldon of Cypress, Texas, and Ruth Boots and her husband Lester of St. Cloud, Minnesota; a great-niece and four great-nephews; nine great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; other relatives, and friends.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Donald and his wife Rose Mary.
