Dennis Dreier, age 85, of Hamburg, Minnesota, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019, at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 23, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg, Minnesota, with interment following at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 22, 2019, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Hamburg, Minnesota, and will continue one hour prior the service at the church.
Obituary
Dennnis Weldon Dreier was born June 24, 1934, at home in Hamburg, Minnesota. He was the son of William and Hattie (Panning) Dreier. Dennis was baptized as an infant on July 1, 1934, by Reverend Heinrich Bouman and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth on March 21, 1948, by Reverend Louis Wohlfeil both at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Young America Township, rural Hamburg, Minnesota. His confirmation verse was Psalm 27:1. Dennis received his education at Emanuel Lutheran Parochial School in Hamburg, Minnesota.
Dennis made his home on the family farm all of his life. He was a farmer and loved being a farmer. Dennis was a life-long member of Emanuel Lutheran Church where he served as an usher. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed taking rides around the countryside and day trips. Dennis also enjoyed coffee time, making clocks and playing cards. He loved his “John Deere” tractors and wildlife, especially turkey, deer and birds. Dennis treasured the time spent with his family and friends.
Dennis passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019, at the age of 85 years, 1 month, and 23 days.

Nephew, Leroy Dreier and his wife, Carol, of Hamburg, MN;
Niece, LeAnn Jones and her significant other, Marty Lind, of Oak Grove, MN;
Great Nephews and Nieces, Matthew, Rachel, Tabitha, James, Jesse, Justin;
Many other relatives and friends.
Dennis was preceded in death by his Parents, William and Hattie Dreier; Brothers, Leslie Dreier, Gilbert Dreier.
