Donna Mae Reinitz, age 90, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Grand Meadows Senior Living in Glencoe.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brownton, Minnesota, with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 A.M., one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Donna Mae (Rickheim) Reinitz was born on June 18, 1933, in Sibley County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Alvin and Edna (Stresemann) Rickheim. Donna had one brother, Verlyn Rickheim. She was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth. Donna received her elementary education at a local country school. She finished her education at Winthrop High School.
On June 12, 1951, Donna married Wilmar Lindeman at the St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Penn Township. After their marriage, Wilmar and Donna farmed on the Lindeman home farm site before moving to the farm she lived on for the next 66 years. Their marriage was blessed with two children, Bruce and Bonnie. The couple shared 37 years of marriage until Wilmar passed away on June 29, 1988.
Donna met Wayne Reinitz and they were married on September 26, 1989. They shared 19 years of marriage until Wayne passed away on August 2, 2008.
Donna loved old-time music and going to dances. She also loved trips to the casino. After Wayne passed away, Donna spent 8 years with her dear friend, Edgar Schuft. Spending time with her family and friends was very important to her.
When Donna needed assistance with her daily care, she moved to Grand Meadows Senior Living in Glencoe, Minnesota in 2019. Donna dearly loved everyone who cared for her and looked forward to all activities there. Donna passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Grand Meadows Senior Living at the age of 90 years. Blessed be her memory.

Sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Schatz and her husband, Clarence, of Brownton, MN,
Lillie “Lil” Lindeman of Brownton, MN,
Verona Katzenmeyer of Hutchinson, MN;
Step-Daughter-In-Law, Terry (Whitaker) Reinitz of Norwood Young America, MN;
Step-Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren;
Nieces, Nephews, and other loving relatives, and friends.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Edna Rickheim; Brother, Verlyn Rickheim; Husbands, Wilmar Lindeman and Wayne Reinitz; Son, Bruce Lindeman; Step-children, Robert “Bob” Reinitz, Joyce Bauernfield, Jeannie Reinitz; Dear Friend, Edgar Schuft.
