Edwin "Eddie" Hacker, age 64, of Fairfax passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at his home in rural Fairfax.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 13, 2023, 10:30 A.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. (1 1/2 hours prior), ALL at the church.
Obituary
Edwin “Eddie” Charles Hacker was born on March 29, 1959, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. He was the son of Roman and Anna (Balazaitis) Hacker. Eddie was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. He received his education at St. Andrew’s Catholic School in Fairfax and was a graduate on the Fairfax High School Class of 1977. Eddie resided on the farm and he farmed his whole life. He was also employed at Jackpot Junction for many years.
Eddie was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax.
Eddie loved being on the farm, spending time outdoors, and driving around the countryside. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Eddie passed away at his home on Friday, October 6, 2023, at the age of 64 years. Blessed be his memory.
Eddie is survived by his:
Brother, Thomas Hacker of Willmar, MN;
Many Cousins.
Eddie was preceded in death by his Parents, Roman and Anna Hacker.
