From Church of the Ascension Homebound Communion – Our sincere sympathy to all of the family of Betty. We were honored to take the Eucharist to her. She liked to talk about our faith and spirituality and it was always an enjoyable and interesting conversation. The family portrait that hung on her wall was beautiful and she shared bits about your wonderful family. Be happy, Betty, and rest in peace, as we contemplate your words of wisdom and final wishes.

So sorry for the loss of your Mom. It’s one of the most difficult things in life, to lose one’s mother, no matter age, or situation. Prayers and hugs to the family.
Don Schulz says
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. I lived across the road from your mother when she was a senior in high school.
We dated for a while before I went to Washington, D.C. in June of 1959. At Christmas time I came home and asked her to marry me. She said “Yes” and I gave her an engagement ring. When I came home the following Easter, she said “ I don’t think I am ready to get married yet and gave me back the ring.
We parted friends and have remained friends over the years. May the Good Lord be with you and comfort you during this stressful time.
