Elizabeth M. Colberg

Obituary

Elizabeth Marie Colberg was born on March 13, 1933, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Joseph and Ruth (Meacham) Clark. Elizabeth was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith on June 2nd 1946. She received her education in St. Paul.

On July 17th 1970, Elizabeth was united in marriage to Leslie Colberg, in Brookings SD. Elizabeth and Les shared 27 years of marriage prior to the passing of Les in 2003.

In 1967, Elizabeth moved from St. Paul to Lake Lillian, Minnesota. She then moved to Cosmos, Minnesota, for a short time before moving to Willow Lake, South Dakota in 1974. Elizabeth moved back to Cosmos in 1994.

Elizabeth was employed at Chef Ready Foods, Schmidt Farms, and drove a semi truck with her husband, Les. Elizabeth was a member of the Senior Center in Cosmos.

Elizabeth loved animals and taking care of her plants. She also enjoyed camping, reading, garage saling, and playing Yahtzee, Phase 10, and cribbage. Elizabeth especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Elizabeth passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, surrounded by her family at her home in Cosmos, at the age of 90.
