I am so sad and sorry to see that Elsa passed away. I feel so lucky that I was able to get to know her at the Haven. I met her the day she moved into Reflections. My deepest sympathy to your family. Maggie

Happy trails, Aunt Dean, until we meet again! I have such fond memories of seeing you, my aunt-by-marriage and the rest of the clan in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, each and every Christmas, at Grandmother Ezell’s house, for so many years. No matter how far we got away, it seems that every Christmas Eve (almost) all of us would return to that little farmhouse sitting out in middle of the fields of Christian County, Ky. Many Easters too we would return to observe the rites of Spring and an Easter egg hunt full of cousins once and twice removed. I remember well your sweet smile and your gentle Southern accent, as you genuinely inquired as to how we were doing and how was life. I know you are gathered now unto our fathers and mothers who have gone on before, not because of what church you went to or because of your works for God, but because of the faith I always saw reflected in your kind words and gentle spirit. Only a soul redeemed from the sins we all have committed by the Blood of the Lamb can love and care for others like you did. I also saw your love for God reflected in my friend and cousin, your son, Tim. I know the roots of his faith are in yours. I know like hundreds of other kids, you taught him too about about the love of a Heavenly Father who would give his only Son for a lost world, if they would only accept His Gift by faith. Thanks for living a Godly life, Aunt Dean. Enjoy the reward of your faith. Enjoy the mansion Jesus prepared for you there on The Other Side. ~With Love, Mark
