Emil was my bus driver for many years. Also saw him as his son and daughter in law were our neighbors. He was such a kind man and will be missed. Sympathies to the family.

To Mark and the rest of the Starke family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Was an honor to drive bus with you guys about 16 or 17 years ago. Emil was always good to catch up on current events in the morning over coffee time and was always good for a laugh.

Randy and Mark, I was just thinking about your dad the other day when I was in Cash Wise and how I hadn’t seen him. Another bus driver gone. I always had a good time talking to him. He always had something smart to say to me.
You and your families will be in my prayers.

So sorry to here of the passing of Emil. We know he is in a better place and can be reunited with Marion again. I was told he was so un happy at the oaks but his heart was always on the farm but things don’t always plan out that way. Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. God bless you all at this sad time.

Emil was our bus driver when we lived on North High Drive. He was a true gentleman and a great bus driver. Our kids loved him. We often met up with him at Cash Wise, and always enjoyed the visit. He will be truly missed by everybody who knew him. Rest in Peace, Emil!!!

SO SORRY to hear that Emil passed away. I am going to miss his laugh, his stories and all those conversations we used to have where we solved ( or we thought we did) all the problems of the world! Many fond memories of him over the years and I will never forget all the ballgames in Cosmos we played together when Emil was my catcher in the modified softball league. Great memories. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Starke Family!

It seems lately we’ve been saying good bye to our friends at a rapid rate. I just saw Emil at Walmart a couple weeks ago. The usual sparing, of course, but noticed more sadness that time. Very unhappy about living in town, and longed to be at the farm. I trust, he is more content now and will be happy to be with his Lord and Savior.
Bob and I send our sympathy to his family.

My Condolences to Mark, Randy and their families. Emil drove past our place and always waved. I had the privilege of getting to know him at Park Elementary when I worked as a substitute Para and took the students out to their buses. Then when I worked as a rider with the students. I remember the day he got stuck in the snow on our road right by the corner of our property and he had to call in and have them bring out another bus to get him unstuck. Another time I read in the paper he went in the ditch. Had to ask him how he managed that and he’d say well it wasn’t easy but everyone was okay. Enjoyed getting to see him at the fair over the years and at graduation parties he attended for my neighbor kids who aren’t kids anymore. God bless you Emil for bringing us all laughter and loved the hugs.
