Obituary

Emily Joy Ulrich was born on January 25, 1990, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Randy L. Ulrich and Bernice J. (Schlueter) Ulrich. Emily was baptized as an infant on January 26, 1990 by Pastor Marth, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth by Pastor Gerhard Bode both at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. She received her education in Hutchinson, beginning with preschool at Little Lambs and finishing with her GED in 2007.

Emily resided in rural Stewart until she moved to Hutchinson. She was employed as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at various health care companies in the Hutchinson area and recently was employed with Accra Care in Hopkins, Minnesota. Emily was a lifelong member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.

Emily enjoyed attending the Minnesota Lynx Basketball games and also watching the games on television. She also enjoyed attending the Minnesota State Fair yearly. Emily was a big collector of Tweety Bird and John Deere items. She especially enjoyed fishing with her dad and she cherished her time spent with family and friends.

Emily passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at the Hutchinson Health Hospital, at the age of 28 years.
