Eugene Carl Young

Obituary

Eugene Carl Young was born on January 7, 1943, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He was the son of Benjamin and Helen (Mastel) Young. Eugene was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith at St. Agatha in Howard, South Dakota. He received his education at St. Agatha.  

On May 27, 1994, Eugene was united in marriage to Helen Margaret Horrmann at McLeod County Courthouse in Glencoe, Minnesota. Eugene and Helen resided in Lester Prairie, Minnesota.  

Eugene was employed as a Cabinet Maker at the Dura Supreme in Howard Lake, Minnesota for 9 years. Eugene was a member of Christ The King Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota. 

Eugene enjoyed collecting John Wayne memorabilia and going fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
