Eyone A. Tupa, age 83, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at her residence after a recent battle with cancer.
Per Eyone’s request, no services will be held.
Obituary
Eyone Adele (Mikolichek) Tupa was born on April 17, 1942, in Hale Township, McLeod County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Alouis and Adeline (Mallak) Mikolichek. She was baptized at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Silver Lake, Minnesota, on April 19, 1942. She received her confirmation at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Glencoe, Minnesota, on March 2, 1977. She attended schools in Silver Lake and Hutchinson, Minnesota.
On April 15, 1958, she married Robert Miller and moved to Moses Lake, WA, and then to Widerback, Germany, for two years while Robert was stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base. While there, they did a lot of traveling through Europe.
On November 7, 1961, she married George Tupa and moved to Glencoe. Their marriage was blessed with four children: twins, Randal and Richard, Mark, and Dawn.
Eyone worked as a waitress, a school bus driver for Glencoe and Lester Prairie, 3M, Hutchinson Technology, Medallion Kitchens, Young America Corp., and Telex/Bosch until her retirement in 2010.
Eyone enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards (especially Texas Hold’em), crocheting, knitting, macrame, punch work, embroidery, and other crafts.
Eyone is survived by her husband, George Tupa of Glencoe, MN; sons, Randal (Linda) Tupa of Luxemburg, WI, Richard (Donna) Tupa of St. Louis Park, MN, Mark Tupa of Glencoe, MN; daughter, Dawn (Dustin) LaMott of Lester Prairie, MN; grandchildren, Brooke (Ryan) Dummer and their child, Ella, Brandon (Rheannan) Tupa, Caitlyn Tupa (Zach Robinson) and their children, Julian, Rhys, and Zoey, Bradley (Sara) Tupa and their children, Everett, twins, Lincoln and Lila, Abigail (Jerus) Campbell; brother, Garlen (Shirley) Mikolichek of Mayer, MN; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Elroy and Sharon Tupa of Hutchinson, MN; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Eyone was preceded in death by her parents, Alouis Mikolichek and Adeline Rose; stepfather, Clarence Rose; father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Alice Tupa; brother, Gordon (Gladys) Mikolichek; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Geraldine (Roy) Darsow, Arlene (Orville) Gehlen, and Loren Tupa.
