Garrett was such an awesome person. So very to lose him so soon. He was my son’s best friend..they were always getting into some sort of ruckus, messing around with cars and stereos…just being kids. Awesome kids. His loss will be felt very deeply in our home. He was always there for my son, and really anyone who needed his help, no matter the time of day or what it was. He was there if you needed him. Was just that kind of guy you could count on. He was a really great friend to my son and I was always happy to have him visit. He was a good kid. It was like having an extra son whenever he was around. I’ll miss that very much.
He loved his beautiful girlfriend Maddie with all his heart. You could easily see it whenever they were together. And even when they weren’t, he was on the phone with her or texting her or talking about her..he was just head over heels for her. You could tell they were one of those couples who were love at first sight types…laid eyes on each other and would never leave each other’s sides. .high school sweethearts, love of their lives. It was just such a special and beautiful thing to see…something some people never get to experience even once in their lives. Seeing that always made me feel so hopeful.
I’m so grateful for all the ways Garrett touched our lives and will miss him deeply.
Praying for peace and healing for Maddie and Lori and all who knew him. It will be so hard to adjust to the giant hole in our lives where he used to be. He will always hold a special place in all our hearts and we know he would not want us to live in misery because of his passing. He would want us to celebrate his life and try to move forward.
My deepest condolences. I’m just so very sorry this happened.
Rest Peacefully Garrett. We love you and will miss you so much.

I have known garrett for over 5 years, and I have never had a best friend, a brother, my rock to keep me around. We would go mudding through the fields all the time. One time me, garrett, and mikaylin went mudding and we took my jeep and mikaylin rolled down the window and Garrett told us to hold on and all the mud came flying in. It was just one of those moments we will never forget. I just bought this truck and I was talking to garrett and asking him if he could take me to the junk yard and he’s like yea hop in let’s go get the parts you need. I dont have many friends that would do that.. he’d take my keys from me and take me down some old dirt roads.
One time garrett was driving and he’s like hold on we are gonna do something crazy. I told him not to go to fast cuz I had a red bull opened in my cup holder and he jumped the road and my red bull went all over me and my side of the jeep.. he just laugh and said its cleanable. I was like damnit garrett come on. Just that smile he flashed. It was brotherly love.. I miss those nights when I’d pick him up when he would get in trouble or just when he needed to get outta the house.. it wont be the same. I remember when garrett and maddie got together and, it was like love at first site. Both were stubborn it was the perfect couple. I’m really sorry maddie and to the damlow family my prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.. he was definitely a troublemaker but he was an amazing little brother to me.. keeping me in line. Giving me amazing times with the time he was here. I love and miss you gar bear.
