Gary L. Zipf, age 69, of Stewart, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at his home.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 16496 Vale Ave., Lynn Township, rural Hutchinson, Minnesota, with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Obituary
Gary L. Zipf was born on February 3, 1954, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Herman and Ruth (Warner) Zipf. Gary was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lynn Township, rural Hutchinson. He received his education in Hutchinson, and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1972.
On April 5, 1975, Gary was united in marriage to Linda L. Anderson at North Crow Lutheran Church in Cokato, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with two children, Travis and Kristy. Gary and Linda resided in Stewart, Minnesota. They shared 48 years of marriage.
Gary farmed the family farm in rural Stewart and was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Hanson Gravel in Hutchinson. Gary was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Gary enjoyed helping his neighbors with backhoe work and hauled gravel and fill when they needed assistance. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Gary passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at his home in Stewart, at the age of 69 years.

Son, Travis Zipf and his wife, Jennifer of Carver, MN;
Daughter, Kristy Mulyck and her fiancé, Dean Nemitz of Hutchinson, MN;
Grandchildren, Blake Mulyck of Hutchinson, MN,
Aiden Zipf of Carver, MN,
Paxton Zipf of Carver, MN;
Step-granddaughter, Briahna Nemitz of Hutchinson, MN;
Sister, Betty Zipf of Oceanside, CA;
Many other relatives and friends.
Gary is preceded in death by his Parents, Herman and Ruth Zipf.

Linda sorry to hear about Gary. We were classmates. I don’t know if you remember that we were friends when working at 3M in are early years. We went to dances and going out having fun. Sending prayers to you and your family during this difficult time. Keep your family close to you during this difficult time. It helps getting thru this hard difficult time. I’ve been a widow for almost 17 years. I know what it is like.

I only just learned about Gary’s passing. I am so sorry for Linda and their family members. My sincerest condolences. Gary and I were friends in High School and afterwards = we attended each others weddings etc.., but like what happens all too often in the hectic passage of life, we lost touch with one another and I know that I haven’t seen him in over 25 years = Sad
