I really enjoyed visiting with George while working at Cash Wise in Hutchinson as a teenager twenty some years ago! He had a dry sense of humor, but he always had a little smile and twinkle in his eye at the end of each conversation. I look forward to the days he would come into the store to shop. I really never knew his name, but I sure recognized his picture immediately when I saw it on this website. My sincere sympathies to the family. He was a good guy!

My condolences to the family. I started at the Adult Corrections Facility in 1976 and worked with George until his retirement. He was a GREAT man to work with & learn from. I will always remember that he rode into work from Hutchinson for years with Bill Turnbull and there were MANY a story to be heard and laughed about. I recently lost my father (age 92) and so can feel your heartache. You all will be in my prayers.
