Georgia "Ann" Pinske, age 89, of Gaylord passed away Monday, November 30, 2020, at The Estates of Delano in Delano, Minnesota.
Private Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 4, 2020, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Gaylord, with interment in the Gaylord Cemetery.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Obituary
Georgia “Ann” Pinske was born on December 14, 1930, in Covington, Virginia. She was the daughter of Aubrey and Virginia (Messick) Smith. Georgia was baptized and was later confirmed in her faith. She received her education in Covington, Virginia, and was a graduate of the Covington High School.
On October 18, 1952, Georgia was united in marriage to Donavan “Don” Pinske in Arlington, Virginia. After their marriage, the couple resided in Gaylord. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Georgia and Don were blessed with four children and they shared 62 years of marriage when Don passed away on August 25, 2015.
Georgia was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Gaylord and taught Catechism. She delivered Meals on Wheels, volunteered at the nursing home, was a Girl Scout Leader, member of the Legion Auxiliary and was an election official.
Georgia enjoyed baking cookies, bird watching, flower gardening, watching grandchildren and great grandchildren sporting events. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Georgia was preceded in death by her Parents, Aubrey and Virginia Smith; Husband, Don Pinske; and Brother, Daniel (Norma) Smith.
