Gerald Lee Wendorff, age 84, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at GlenFields Living With Care in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 1:00-4:00 P.M., at the Glencoe City Center (Senior Room) in Glencoe.

Gerald (Santa Claus) visited with me every time I played at GlenFields. Occasionally, he’d have a picture for me. I missed him the last couple of times I was there. Great guy… very proud of his beard!

We are going to miss Gerald so much at glenfields. How blessed we were to have gotten to care for someone like him. He always made everyone’s day so much better – and made us endless drawings . Prayers to your family!

I had the pleasure of meeting Gerald at Glenfield while visiting my parents there. He was a greeter to our family a couple years ago coming in October. It was a big transformation for my parents making their new home now at Glenfield. Gerald was one making my dad feel welcome there. He greet you with a handshake that was so full love. He would color pictures and hand them out to us and others. The pictures were done beautifully by him and often encouraging words. He was a light that made easy to talk to…He will very missed.
