Geraldine “Gerri” Bosma, age 85, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Heights Covenant Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota, with interment in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Obituary
Geraldine “Gerri” Agnes Bosma was born on August 22, 1938, in Titonka, Iowa. She was the daughter of Meindert and Flora (Franzen) Ullmann. Gerri was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Titonka. She received her education in Titonka, and was a graduate of the Titonka High School. Gerri furthered her education at the University of Northern Iowa, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree.
On June 27, 1964, Geraldine was united in marriage to Howard Bosma at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Titonka, Iowa. This marriage was blessed with two children, Brian and Nancy. Howard and Geraldine resided in Hutchinson, Minnesota since January of 2010. They shared 57 years of marriage prior to the passing of Howard on February 28, 2022.
Gerri was employed as a teacher in Ames, Iowa, and Bloomington, Minnesota. She also worked at Blue Cross Blue Schield Insurance. Gerri retired in 2007. Gerri was a member of Oak Heights Covenant Church in Hutchinson.
Gerri enjoyed gardening, playing the piano, and socializing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Gerri passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, at the age of 85 years.

Gerri is preceded in death by her Parents, Meindert and Flora Ullmann; Husband, Howard Bosma; Siblings, Frank Ullmann, Henry Ullmann, Thelma Zwiefel, Floyd Ullmann, Hank Ullmann, Harriett Ullmann, Phyllis Janes; Brothers-in-law, Willis Janes, Marvin Bosma and his wife, Betty, Bill Haraldson; Sister-in-law, Sue Bosma.

Brian and Nancy–I’ m sorry to hear your mother passed. My folks, Clarence and Beverly enjoyed her and your dad a lot. I remember visiting you in Bloomington when we were all kids, and the “boys” all got to go to the baseball game while we women had fun back at your house.
