Ginny M. Rogers, age 46, of rural Buffalo Lake, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her home in Buffalo Lake.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, Minnesota, with interment at a later date.
Gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.
Obituary
Ginny Marie Rogers was born on July 30, 1979, in Waconia, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Donald and Leslie (Salzl) Rogers. Ginny was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in the Catholic faith as a youth. She received her education in Waconia, and was a graduate of the Waconia High School class of 1997. Ginny furthered her education at Ridgewater College, in Hutchinson, receiving an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development.
Ginny was blessed with two daughters, Laila and Leanna “Lucy”. She was later blessed with a son, Leo, with her life partner of 20 years, John Mraz. Ginny and her family resided in rural Buffalo Lake, Minnesota.
Ginny was employed as an Early Childhood Educator at Our Saviors Lutheran Early Learning Childcare in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Ginny enjoyed many outdoor activities such as walking, fishing, hiking, canoeing, camping, swimming, and gardening. She also enjoyed crafting and was known as having a very positive attitude. Ginny had a deep love for her animals. She especially cherished time spent with her family and friends.
Ginny passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her home in Buffalo Lake, at the age of 46 years.

Sister, Melissa Holley and her husband, Travis, of Hamburg, MN;
Nephews, Kody Johnson, William Holley;
Grandmother, Nancy Rogers of Minnetonka, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.
Ginny is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Donald Rogers; Grandparents, Jerome and Ardyce Salzl; and Uncle, Jerry Salzl.

Curt and i (Heather) met Ginny when we first moved to Stewart 15 yrs ago, such a breath of sunshine, so bubblely and kind. Many mornings of great conversation and coffee. We will miss running into her. We will pray for comfort of her family, and for God to watch over you all.
