Gloria Jean Jewett, age 79, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, October 20th, 2020, at Cedar Crest Estate in Silver Lake.
Private Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 13, 2020, at Pratt Funeral Home in Richland Center, Wisconsin, with interment following at the Sextonville Cemetery in Sextonville, Wisconsin.
Private Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Pratt Funeral Home in Richland Center, Wisconsin.

Obituary
Gloria Jean (Mitchell) Jewett was born on August 16, 1941, in Richland Center. Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Walter Victor and Eldred Luella (Johnson) Mitchell. Gloria was baptized and confirmed in her faith at the United Methodist Church in Boaz, Wisconsin. She received her education in Boaz and Richland Center, Wisconsin.
On August 18, 1962, Gloria was united in marriage to Marvin LaVerne Jewett by Rev. G. Kintz at the Boaz United Methodist Church in Boaz, Wisconsin. Gloria and Marvin made their home in Wisconsin, Iowa, California, Indiana and Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, Brian and Brent. Gloria and Marvin shared over 39 years of marriage until Marvin passed away on July 2, 2002.
Gloria held various jobs until 1986 when she started working at Security Bank in Glencoe, Minnesota. She worked in the trust department for many years. Gloria was an active member at United Methodist Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota. As her ministry to the church, she proudly served on the Finance Committee.
Gloria enjoyed church activities, reading, taking walks, cookouts and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She cherished the time spent with her family, friends and especially trips with her sisters.
Gloria passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at Cedar Crest Estate in Silver Lake, Minnesota, at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 4 days.

Sisters, Marlene Himes and her husband, Fred, of Cedar Rapids, IA,
Meredith Morgan and her husband, William, of Cazenovia, WI,
Glenda Dobbs and her husband, Donald, of Muscoda, WI;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her Parents, Walter and Eldred Mitchell; Husband, Marvin Jewett; Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law, Floyd and Erma Jewett.
