Service Information
Howard L. Bosma, age 87, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Heights Covenant Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota with interment in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, Minnesota at a later date.
Gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service ALL at the church.
Military Honors by the Hutchinson Memorial Rifle Squad.

Obituary
Howard Lewis Bosma was born on March 29, 1934, on the family farm near Stevens, Iowa. He was the son of Lewis and Louise (Maass) Bosma. Howard was baptized as an infant at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Stevens, and later confirmed in his faith as an adult at First Reform Church in Buffalo Center, Iowa, in June 1950. He received his education in Buffalo Center and was a graduate with the Buffalo Center High School class of 1951.
Howard worked for the L.H. Harmon Construction Company until he entered active military service in the United States Army on October 16, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa. He received his training at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas, and served his country for 16 months in South Korea. Howard received an Honorable Discharge on August 12, 1958, at Fort Lewis, Washington, and achieved the rank of Specialist E5.
After Howard’s return from active duty, he went back to work for L. H. Harmon before furthering his education as an electronics tech at a Trade School in Des Moines, Iowa. He was employed as an electronics tech for 32 years at Control Data Corporation in Bloomington, Minnesota. Howard retired in 1995.
On June 27, 1964, Howard was united in marriage to Geraldine Ullmann at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Titonka, Iowa. This marriage was blessed with two children, Brian and Nancy. Howard and Geraldine resided in Hutchinson, Minnesota since January of 2010. They shared 57 years of marriage.
Howard was a member of Oak Heights Covenant Church in Hutchinson.
Howard enjoyed listening to music, playing cards, fishing, pool, watching sports, and hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Howard passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at Harmony River Living Center, in Hutchinson, at the age of 87 years.

Many other relatives and friends.
Howard is preceded in death by his Parents, Lewis and Louise Bosma; Brother, Marvin Bosma and his wife, Betty; Sister-in-law, Sue Bosma.
