Obituary
Jack Terry Clark was born on March 6, 1951, in Montevideo, Minnesota. He was the son of Franklin and Darlene (Winters) Clark. Jack was baptized as an infant. He was later confirmed in his faith as a youth at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Chaska, Minnesota. Jack received his education in Norwood Young America, and he was a graduate of Central High School with the class of 1969.
Jack was united in marriage to Delores (Boike) Bandemer on August 21, 1994, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Plato, Minnesota. Their union brought together two families, blessing them with 8 wonderful children: Shari, Kari, Jacki, Scott, Troy, Susan, Nancy, Aaron. Jack and Delores shared over 30 years of marriage.
Jack was employed at Cemstone Products Company out of St. Bonifacius, MN, as a truck driver for 40 years. He also owned and operated his own trucking company. Jack retired at the age of 65. Jack was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Union for 25 years. Jack was a faithful and active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Plato, MN. He held many leadership roles at church, served as an usher, was a part of their Bible Study Group, and was present to lend a hand at any event that took place there.
Jack enjoyed working on old cars, frequenting local car shows, and collecting old cars. He was a “collector” of many things, some say jokingly. He loved to spend time outdoors, whether he was working in the yard or feeding the birds. He enjoyed relaxing and watching TV. Jack loved to be out on the road, whether it was driving for work or taking a drive around the countryside. He cherished the time he spent with his family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Jack’s faith, family, friends, and hobbies were of great importance to him.
