Service Information
Janell “Nellie” Booth, age 61, of Hutchinson, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be Tuesday, July 16, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Janell “Nellie” Marie Booth was born on July 13, 1962, in Litchfield, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Richard and Gloria (Mahlstedt) Paul. Nellie was baptized as an infant on September 30, 1962, at Stockholm Lutheran Church in Cokato, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on May 2, 1976, at Grace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. She received her education in Hutchinson and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School class of 1980. Nellie furthered her education at Hutchinson Vocational School with a degree in Non-Destructive Testing.
On December 14, 2005, Nellie was united in marriage to Thomas S. Booth in Las Vegas, Nevada. After their marriage, the couple resided in Hutchinson. Nellie managed Mr. Donut in Hutchinson, she started out as a trainer and then moved into a supervisor position at HTI in Hutchinson for 15 years. Nellie was also a supervisor for 10+ years with NAMG (North American Membership Group). Janell and Thomas shared 18 years of marriage.
Nellie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, was a Sunday School teacher, member of the Lutheran Pioneers and 4H.
Nellie enjoyed going on cruises, making and decorating wedding cakes, creating wedding flower bouquets, doing craft projects, and collecting salt and pepper shakers. She cherished her nieces and nephews and treated them like her children.
Nellie passed away Friday, July 12, 2024, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, at the age of 61 years. Blessed be her memory.

Siblings, Jeffrey Paul and his wife, Diane of Foreston, MN,
Joni Windhauser and her husband, Bruce of Milaca, MN,
Jackie Schulz and her husband, Bill of Hutchinson, MN;
Nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nellie was preceded in death by her Mother, Gloria Paul; Mother-in-law, Marion Main; Sister-in-law, Loretta Greenberg; and other in-laws.
