Janet F. Healy

Obituary

Janet Fay Healy was born on March 3, 1944, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Everett and Norine (Richards) Riesberg. Janet was baptized as an infant on April 14, 1944, at her parent’s home by Rev. W.J. Schulze, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth on May 18, 1958, by Rev. M.C. Kirsch at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. She received her education in Hutchinson, and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1962. Janet furthered her education at Hutchinson Area Vocational Technical School, receiving her diploma as a Teacher’s Aide on May 28, 1971.

Janet was blessed with three children, Roxanne, Kenneth, and Jeffrey. She resided in Hutchinson.

Janet was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a Teacher’s Aide in Hutchinson. Janet also cared for grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janet was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.

Janet enjoyed gardening and attending her children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s extracurricular activities. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

Janet passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at her home in Hutchinson, at the age of 80 years.

Janet is preceded in death by her Parents, Everett and Norine Riesberg.
