Jean Krueger, age 70, of Fairfax passed away Friday, September 17, 2021, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral Service will be Friday, September 24, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax with interment in Ft. Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely Township, Nicollet County, Minnesota.
Visitation will be 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. two hours prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Jean Marie Krueger was born on July 14, 1951, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the daughter of (Donald Schultz), Frank and Mary Alice (Roiger) Ziegler. Jean was baptized as an infant at St. Paul Cathedral Church and was later confirmed in her youth at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. She received her education in Fairfax and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1969.
Jean was employed at ADC in Fairfax, she had a home daycare for 20 years and Furs are Flying in Mankato.
Jean was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Fairfax.
Jean enjoyed camping with her best friend, Sue, playing cards, dice, and fishing. She loved horses, bird watching and dogs. Jean cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Jean passed away at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the age of 70 years. Blessed be her memory.
Jean is survived by her:
Children, James Schroeder and his wife, Kim of Fairfax, MN, and
Jennifer Schroeder of Springfield, MN;
Grandchildren, Brenna (Adam) Grund, Brady Schroeder, Hana Schroeder;
Great-grandchildren, Karter Horman, Liam, Lane and Lennox Grund;
Step Daughter, Chelsea Rice;
Siblings, Lori (Terry) Humbert, Frank (Desiree) Ziegler, John (Shannon) Ziegler, Bill (Kim) Ziegler, Mary (Bret) Hagen, Ann (Kirby) Albrecht, Karen (Duane) Becker, Dawn (Calvin) Buddensiek, Loree (Tim) Ryan, Scott (Chastity) Schultz, Kari Schultz and special friend, Tom, Wendy (Rodney) Salonek;
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jean was preceded in death by her Parents, Frank and Mary Zieger, Donald Schultz; Granddaughter, Courtney Christensen; Nephew, Steven Ziegler.
