Service Information

Jeanette V. Neubarth, age 86, of Brownton, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Grand Meadows Senior Living in Glencoe, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, January 6, 2026, 11:00 A.M., at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart, Minnesota, with interment in High Island Cemetery in New Auburn, Minnesota.

Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 A.M., 1 ½ hours prior to the service at the church.

Obituary

Jeanette Veronica Neubarth was born on September 7, 1939, in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Henry and Frances (Gehlen) Schroeder. Jeanette was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth, both at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Glencoe. She received her education through the eighth grade at St. Peter and Paul Catholic School, and was a graduate of the Glencoe High School class of 1957.

On May 27, 1961, Jeanette was united in marriage to Virgil Neubarth at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Jeanette and Virgil resided on their family farm in Stewart, Minnesota, and later moved to Brownton, Minnesota, in 2002. They shared 58 years of marriage until Virgil passed away on November 4, 2019.

Jeanette was a proud farm wife. She was an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Stewart, serving with the Church Women.

Jeanette enjoyed the outdoors, camping and gardening. She also enjoyed embroidery and decorating for all of the different seasons and holidays. Jeanette especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Jeanette passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Grand Meadows Senior Living in Glencoe, at the age of 86 years.

Sisters, Gerry Mickolichek of Silver Lake, MN,
Betty Schroeder of Glencoe, MN;
Brother-in-law, Wally Reckdahl of Gaylord, MN;
Sister-in-law, Joan Neubarth of Hutchinson, MN;
Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jeanette is preceded in death by her Parents Henry and Frances Schroeder; Husband, Virgil Neubarth; Sisters, Caroline Reckdahl, Arleen (Marlen) Radke; Brother, Edmund Schroeder; Sister-in-law, Lorraine Schroeder; Brother-in-law, Earl Neubarth; Brother-in-law, David Mickolichek.
