Obituary

Jeffrey John Schrupp was born on May 21, 1980, in Waconia, Minnesota.  He was the son of Ronald and Susan (Schauer) Schrupp.  Jeff was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth both at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota.  He received his education in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, graduating with the NYA High School Class of 1998.

On October 5, 2007, Jeff was united in marriage to Joy Breimhorst at their home in Glencoe, Minnesota.  Jeff and Joy resided in Jordan, Minnesota, and then moved to Lester Prairie, Minnesota, three years ago. Jeff and Joy shared 13 years of marriage.

Jeff worked at Cornerstone Mortgage for 15 years as a mortgage underwriter. He was a member of the Lester Prairie Fire Department for 7 years.  Jeff also served on the West Carver USBC Board as a secretary.

Jeff enjoyed camping with Joy and the kids every weekend in the summers. He enjoyed playing bean bags, so much so that he held a year-round tournament, holding it in his garage during the winter months. Jeff enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and fishing as well.
