Jennifer A. Mallak, wife of Tom Mallak, age 65, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, formerly of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at The Gardens at Winsted in Winsted, Minnesota.

No Services will be held at this time.

Obituary

Jennifer Alexis Mallak was born on February 9, 1957, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Joseph and Betty Lou (Lokken) Tschida.

On April 19, 1985, Jennifer was united in marriage to Thomas “Tom” Mallak at Emmaus Lutheran Church in St. Paul. Jennifer and Tom resided in Atlanta, Georgia for 33 years, and later moved to Hutchinson, Minnesota. They shared 37 years of marriage.

Jennifer worked at Sherwin Williams in Georgia for many years doing clerical work. She then found her true happiness working in the cafeteria for Gwinnett County Schools in Georgia.

Jennifer was an avid quilter and loved creating unique quilts for her entire family. She also enjoyed painting and rescuing stray cats in the neighborhood. Jennifer especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Jennifer passed away on Monday, April 25, 2022, at The Gardens at Winsted in Winsted, Minnesota, at the age of 65 years.

Husband, Tom Mallak of Hutchinson, MN;
Half Brother, Dan Tschida and his wife, Annie of Burnsville, MN;
Mother-in-law, MaryAnn Mallak of Silver Lake, MN;
Brothers-in-law, Dave Mallak and his significant other, Wendy Puckett of Silver Lake, MN,
Mark Mallak and his wife, Teresa of Silver Lake, MN;
Sister-in-law, Donna Holmberg and her husband, Steve of Long Lake, MN;
5 Nieces;
3 Nephews;
Many other relatives and friends.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her Parents, Joseph Tschida and Betty Lou Cook; 2 Step Fathers; Father-in-law, Robert Mallak.

    Tom. Jennifer was such an amazingly caring person. We enjoyed getting to know her thru Premier Designs Jewelry. She brought a lot of joy and laughter to our group. May your heart be at peace.

    Uncle Tom, I will miss Jenny dearly. She was a true tender heart and I’m grateful she had the opportunity to meet and spend time with my son, even though only twice. I will forever cherish the quilt she made for him. My deepest sympathy to you.
