Obituary

Jennifer Kaye Lindahl was born on September 4, 1982, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Robert and Kay (Spelbrink) Ortt. Jenny was baptized as an infant on November 14, 1982 and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth in 1997, both at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka. She received her education in Champlin, Minnesota, and was a graduate of the Champlin Park High School Class of 2001. Jenny furthered her education at St. Cloud State University, earning her Administrative Assistant Degree.

Jenny was employed as an administrative assistant at American Flexible Products in Chaska, Minnesota, for over 10 years.

Jenny was a loving mother, daughter, partner, sister, godmother, aunt and friend. She had a sincere and deep love for all family members. Her children were her world. Jenny was a devoted mother who lived her life for her children. She enjoyed bringing them on vacations, taking them to the park, attending their school events and cheering them on in their activities. She was the rock of her family and she loved others unconditionally. Jenny always had a smile on her face that lit up the room and she had a contagious laugh. Jenny made the best deviled eggs and Hershey kiss cookies. Jenny was very adventurous. She loved to go boating and fishing, visit state parks, sightseeing, nature walks, and being outdoors. In her younger years, she played tennis, softball, and soccer.

Jenny was loved by so many. We will miss her dearly, but we know she is always watching over us. Our beautiful angel is in Heaven, until we meet again.

Jenny passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 39 years. Blessed is her memory.

Jenny is survived by her:

My heart is broken from your early passing Jenny. We shared 39 years together with you as our first born child. I watched your heart beating in your mom’s belly 39 years ago and was so excited to be a new father. And I watched as your heart stopped beating earlier this week and it tore me apart. I’m still numb from head to toe.

You made me proud in so many ways. I loved coaching you in softball and soccer. I enjoyed fishing with you and always being showed up by your bigger fish. Your beautiful smile always made me happy and that laugh of yours…. unreal and so contagious.

You were always good at everything you tried and put you mind too. You were so talented and I envied you and bragged about you all the time.

I love you to the end of the Galaxy and back and always will.

You were always an awesome mom to your three kids and I loved how you always showed such unconditional love for the kids and others. Your brother Ryan and sister Lisa always looked up to you which is something we both took pride in.

Rest assured I will do all I can to help your children grow up to be as funny, kind, and loving as you always were. I can already see your smartness in Caiden, your athleticism in Hunter, and your kindness in McKenna. I told McKenna that we had something in common between us which was that we were all first born children and she liked that.

Your kids were truly blessed to have you as their mom and I was blessed when God and Kay brought you into this world for me to love.

Rest in peace sweetheart and say hi to my mom, dad, and Doug in heaven.
