Service Information
Jerald J. Swanson, age 53, of Palmyra Township, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at his home in Palmyra Township.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Palmyra Covenant Church in Palmyra Township, Minnesota, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Jerald Jonathan Swanson was born on January 4, 1969, in Olivia, Minnesota, the son of Arnold and Geraldine (Geselle) Swanson. Jerald attended school in Hector, Minnesota, and Bird Island, Minnesota, and graduated from BOLD High School in 1990.
He was employed and enjoyed working at West Central Industries in Willmar, Minnesota, from September 1990 thru February 2019.
Jerald attended Palmyra Covenant Church in Palmyra Township, Minnesota. He enjoyed participating in special Olympics, bowling, swimming, basketball and bocce ball. He also enjoyed being part of Jesus Cares in Olivia. Jerald was an avid Vikings fan and they always won! (Even if the score didn’t show it!)
On Friday morning, February 4, 2022, Jerald passed away at home, having reached the age of 53 years.

Many other relatives and friends.
Jerald is preceded in death by his Parents, Arnold and Geraldine Swanson; Brother, Robert Swanson; Sister, Margaret Swanson; and several Aunts and Uncles.
