Jerome Grack

Obituary

Jerome Fred Grack was born on July 5, 1948, in Arlington, Minnesota.  He was the son of Albert Otto and Esther (Frauendienst) Grack.  Jerome was baptized as an infant on August 8, 1948, by Rev. Alfred Streufert and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth on April 15, 1962, by Rev. Arnold Fellwock both at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota.  He received his education through the 8^th grade at country and Lutheran school in Glencoe.    

Jerome made his home in Glencoe, Lester Prairie and New Auburn, Minnesota.  Throughout his life he was blessed with five children, Fred, Barbara, Amanda, Dawn and Darrin and three step sons, Robert, Theodore and Thomas.    

Jerome was a self-employed mechanic and handyman. He tinkered with everything and was a jack of all trades who could fix anything.  He enjoyed morning coffee with friends, taking a drive around town, the outdoors, attending rodeos in South Dakota, and going to tractor shows.  Jerome loved the time spent with family and friends. 

Jerome passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 70 years, 6 months and 16 days.

Jerome was preceded in death by his Parents, Albert and Esther Grack; Brother, Erland Grack and his wife, Eleanor.
