Jesse L. Schmidt

Obituary

Jesse Louis Schmidt was born on June 20, 1962, in Arlington, Minnesota. He was the son of Charley and Myrtiss (Voss) Schmidt. Jesse was baptized as an infant on July 22, 1962, at home by Rev. R. A. Marquardt, and later confirmed in his faith as a youth on April 30, 1978, at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. His confirmation verse was John 3:16. Jesse received his education in Glencoe and graduated with the Glencoe High School class of 1981.

Jesse spent the last 20 years of his life living in Hutchinson, Minnesota, after moving several times throughout his life. Throughout his life, Jesse took on occasional jobs, but his true passion lay in his hobbies, including working on his vehicles and reading Hot Rod Magazines and Auto Trader.

Jesse enjoyed spending time outdoors, relaxing in the sun, or going for walks. He enjoyed listening to music, watching home improvement shows on TV, and drawing. Jesse loved to go for drives, especially to see the fireworks and Christmas displays. Jesse enjoyed going to Minneapolis to relax at Loring Park and on Nicollet Mall. Time spent with his family and friends was time well spent.

Jesse passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Bayside Manor in Gaylord, at the age of 63 years, 2 months, and 16 days. Blessed be his memory.
