John Gerald Worm was born on June 13, 1955, in Shakopee, Minnesota. He was the son of Robert and Laura (Kaufhold) Worm. John was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Chaska, Minnesota. He received his education at Guardian Angels Catholic School in Chaska and continued his education at vocational technical school for welding. As a young man, John worked at Johnathan Farms as a farm hand, after graduating votech he started at Arrow Engineering as a welder in Chaska. After the closing of Arrow Engineering, John went to work for Kmart warehouse in Shakopee where he later retired from after 20 plus years of employment.

This marriage was blessed with three children, Scott, Jennifer, and Melissa. John and Linda resided in Chaska, Minnesota, and later moved to the farm in Norwood Young America in 1989. Linda,
You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. John was a classmate of mine at Guardian Angels and I know I have met you over the years. Treasure the memories and look at snowflakes this year as “Kisses from Heaven”!

We are very sorry to hear of John’s passing. Some of the best childhood memories my brothers and I have are of coming to visit the Worm family. One of the best was going across the street and watching the boys ring the church bells! It has been awhile since we last saw John, but always have thought of him as a kind, considerate, and warm person. Our thoughts are with all of you.
