Service Information
June Baunworth, age 67, of Plato, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed Church in rural Hamburg, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2015, from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed Church in rural Hamburg, Minnesota. A prayer service will be on Friday night at 8:00 P.M. Visitation will continue one hour prior the service at the church on Saturday.
Obituary
June Rose (Johnson) Braunworth was born on September 8, 1948, in Shakopee, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Ralph and Gladys (Good) Johnson. June was baptized as an infant on September 4, 1949, and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth on June 2, 1963, both at United Methodist Church in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. She grew up in Eden Prairie and received her education there graduating from Eden Prairie High School as valedictorian in 1966. June furthered her education by attending the University of Minnesota.
On June 27, 1971, June was united in marriage to William Braunworth at Lake Auburn Moravian Church in Victoria, Minnesota. They made their home in Victoria and later moved to Plato, Minnesota. June and Bill’s marriage was blessed with two children, Bradley and Sonia. They shared over 44 years of marriage together.
June worked at the United States Post Office in Hopkins, Minnesota. She had previously worked at Eaton Corporation and Animal Fair. June enjoyed collecting “treasures” and one of them being Beanie Babies and going to auctions with Bill looking for more treasures. She loved watching her grandchildren and their activities and spending time with family and friends.
June passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Marie Steiner Kelting Hospice Home in Chaska, Minnesota, at the age of 67 years, 2 months and 9 days.
