Kathy Shurtleff says
Karen was my cousin. She was a beautiful lady. Always smiling, always kind. I remember seeing her in her wedding dress she made herself! Her hair styled to cascade on one side. I thought she looked like a beautiful princess!
Her thoughtful letters as my daughter battled cancer are treasured.
May her family take comfort in the fact that Karen had a strong Christian faith. She knew her whole life that God Loves her and she is now with her Lord.
In sympathy,
Kathy Shurtleff and Family

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Karen. We used to be neighbors and went to school together.
Have many fun memories of things we did. Will remember her in my prayers.
