KathyLynne Klucas Kirsch, age 64, of Stewart, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart, with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018, from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. , two hours prior to the service, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Stewart.
Obituary
KathyLynne Klucas Kirsch was born June 23, 1954 in New Ulm, Minnesota, the daughter of Quentin and Ordell (Miller) Klucas. She was baptized as an infant at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart, and confirmed in her faith there as a youth. KathyLynne grew up in Stewart, and graduated from the Stewart Public School with the Class of 1972. She continued her education at HAVTI, the Hutchinson Area Vocational Technical Institute, and graduated in 1974 with an Accounting Degree. KathyLynne then received her Liberal Arts Associate Degree at St. Cloud State University. She later studied the LPN program at Ridgewater College in Hutchinson.
KathyLynne worked for the Continental Telephone Company for 17 years. She worked for HTI in Hutchinson for 11 years, and also for Nordic Track. She enjoyed her work as a CNA at the Golden Living Center in Olivia, Minnesota. She enjoyed working and visiting with customers at her last two places of employment, Walmart and Menards in Hutchinson.
On September 8, 2007, KathyLynne was united in marriage to Rolland Kirsch at the Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Lake. They made their home in Stewart.
KathyLynne was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart where she taught Sunday School and sang in the church choir. She was talented with sewing and knitting, and made many baby quilts. She enjoyed making crafts and refinishing furniture, and liked going to auctions.
KathyLynne passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center, having reached the age of 64 years, 5 months, 19 days. Blessed be her memory.
KathyLynne is survived by her:
Husband, Rolland Kirsch of Stewart, Minnesota;
Mother, Ordell Klucas of Stewart;
Brother, Kevin Klucas and his Wife, Janelle, of Stewart, Minnesota;
Sister, Shelly Lange of Stewart, Minnesota;
Stepchildren, Timothy (Tereasa) Kirsch and their two children of Montevideo, Minnesota, and Katherine (Sara) Hang of Winona, Minnesota;
Father-in-law, Joe Kirsch of Viola, Wisconsin;
Mother-in-law, Karen Kirsch of Merrillan, Wisconsin;
nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
KathyLynne was preceded in death by her Dad, Quentin Klucas, Nephew, Brett Lange, and Great-Nephew, Noah Klucas.

Kathy, we sure will miss you! You dropped everything to help us anytime we needed it. You were a ear who would always listen, even when I knew you were crazy busy with work. You never missed a birthday party for our children and you made the most gorgeous blankets. I am so blessed to have a staple of your life in my daughter’s room as we transformed a solid oak dresser that you gave to her. Your legacy will surely live on forever and we are forever blessed to be touched by your presence. I know you are dancing above the stars and that heaven looks so beautiful, just like you.
