Knew her somewhat because she had been friends with my aunt and uncle, Don & Betty Exsted. Somehow we ended up as Facebook friends and had many smiles at her posts and she’d often respond with a comment or a ‘like’ to mine. My sympathies to you and her family, take care and God Bless.

I was so saddened to hear of other other classmates death. I remember KAY as a very happy person and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that things are done I don’t believe she ever met a stranger she made friends so easily. Everybody loved her. She will be messed by many. May God hold her in his hands and direct of warmth and love two people they need

Kay was so kind & just the sweetest person-I enjoyed her visits so much when she would come to my Dairy Queen!!

She loved her chili cheese dogs, peanut buster parfaits, & of course a six pack to take home-a box of fudge or orange vanilla bars !!

She always made my lobby smell so good – I will never forget her beautiful perfume-musk scent!!

Your parents truly were remarkable people & I am so thankful to have known them. Your dad & mom truly are & will be missed lots always!!
Hugs & prayers to you, Jody – I miss seeing u!

Sending our deepest sympathies to Jody and Bryce and family. Chuck worked with Gene on many electrical projects at work and when we built our house. We got to know Kay thru him. Both were so pleasant to be around. So kind and always smiling. We met Bryce when a family member moved into Woodstone.

Bryce, so sorry to read about Kay’s passing. Thinking about you folks, always brings back a flood of memories. I’m remembering the days when Al worked for your Dad , Bryce would invite us over to watch the boxing matches. Us kid’s would tear around. Kay was always a little cutie. You’ve had your share of sadness. Take care of yourself.

    Dear Jody,
My name is Paulette Kostecka and I live in Young America. I worked with your mom at Young America Corporation over 40 years ago. I just happened to go on this site to check on someone else’s death and I saw the picture of your mom. I was shocked! It wasn’t that long ago that I thought of her, mentioning to my husband that I wondered what ever happened to her. We had so much fun working together. Kay was adorable, so cute, never a hair out of place, and funny. She made a job that was really crummy a place I could tolerate going to. I thought the world of her. May you be comforted knowing she is in that mansion prepared just for her, singing God’s praises with all the angelic hosts around the throne of God. And, as your heart heals, when you think of your mom may it bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart.
