Kendall Schultz, age 78, of Lester Prairie, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Private Family Funeral Service
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. at the Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, with interment following at the Lester Prairie City Cemetery in Lester Prairie, Minnesota.
Obituary
Kendall Walter Schultz was born on June 24, 1941, in New Germany, Minnesota. He was the son of Walter and Iris (Pawelk) Schultz. He was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth on April 3, 1955, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, Minnesota. Kendall received his education in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, graduating with the Lester Prairie High School Class of 1959.
On September 2, 1961, Kendall was united in marriage to Marian Edna Weibel at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Winsted, Minnesota. Kendall and Marian made their home on the Schultz family farm in rural Lester Prairie, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Wade, Kelli and Jill. Kendall and Marian shared over 37 years of marriage until Marian passed away on May 23, 1999.
Kendall was a farmer all of his life on the Schultz family farm. He enjoyed lawn mowing, gardening, reading the newspaper and history books. Kendall loved attending Lester Prairie Bulldog sporting events and watching the Minnesota Twins games on the television. He treasured the time spent with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren who were so important to him. His pride for them was immense.
Thank you to the people in the community for showing Kendall support and kindness during his life. A special thank you to the young Bulldog athletes and their coaches for taking the time to let Kendall shake your hand or tell you good game. He truly enjoyed sharing in your athletic experiences at Lester Prairie High School. Also thank you to his special friends who shared their time with Kendall in his final days.
Kendall passed away, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 2 days.

Kendall taught me how to drive tractor and load hay when I was a teenager and stayed on the farm. He was a hard worker and milked a lot of cows and was a hard worker for his dad Wally.
I’m glad he had a full life with his children and his grandchildren he was truly blessed???

I am a cousin in the Schultz family(Pearl Schultz Stender). Mom was happy to see the family farm was still in the family when we visited several years ago. When Mom passed away in Sept 2017, Kendall and his family were very gracious in letting us gather there are Mom’s burial. To the family–so sorry to here of your loss.
