Obituary

Kirstin Kay Hanke was born on July 5, 1973, in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Gerald and Gail (Schultz) Stuedemann. Kirstin was baptized as an infant in 1973 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gaylord, Minnesota. She received her education in Gaylord and was a graduate of the Sibley East High School Class of 1991.

Kirstin lived in the Gaylord area for most of her life. She was employed at Medallion Cabinetry in New Ulm, Minnesota for 20 years. In 2018, she began working at Agropur in Le Suer, Minnesota. Kirstin was a member of American Lutheran Church in Gaylord.

She was blessed with four children, Megan, Devin, Madison, and Brianna. Kirstin cherished the time spent with her children, family, and friends. She enjoyed gardening, seasonal decorating, and playing solitaire games. Kirstin also enjoyed playing in her darts league and playing volleyball and softball.

Kirstin passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020, at her home in Gaylord surrounded by her family in the arms of her children, at the age of 47 years.

Kirstin is preceded in death by her Parents, Gerald and Gail Stuedemann; Grandparents, Walter and Iris Schultz; Uncle, Kendall and Marian Schultz; and Aunt, Kathryn Hoof.
