Kristi L. Marquardt, age 65, of Fairfax passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2025, surrounded by her family at her home in Fairfax.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 3, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 3:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax and will continue one hour prior to the service on Monday, ALL at the church.
Obituary
Kristi Lynn Marquardt was born on April 15, 1960, in Fairfax, Minnesota. She was the daughter of John and Donna (Franta) Pfeffer. Kristi was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith.
On July 10, 1977, Kristi was united in marriage to Brian Marquardt at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. After their marriage, the couple resided in Fairfax. Kristi and Brian were blessed with four children, Shawn, Tara, Kelsey and Brittany. Kristi was employed at the Fairfax Agency in Fairfax. The couple shared 48 years of marriage.
Kristi was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax.
Kristi enjoyed gardening, golfing, fishing, bowling, gambling, and playing cards and board games. Most of all, Kristi loved her grandchildren. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Kristi passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at her home in Fairfax at the age of 65 years. Blessed be her memory.

Husband, Brian Marquardt of Fairfax, MN;
Children, Shawn Marquardt of Salt Lake City, UT,
Tara Marquardt and Rich Toffolla of Henderson, NV,
Kelsey Vorwerk and her husband, Travis of Gibbon, MN, and
Brittany Jackson and her husband, Cody of Mankato, MN;
Grandchildren, Greta Marquardt, Aviana Toffolla, †Zevian Toffolla, Otis Marquardt, Gus Vorwerk, Evie Jackson, Cora Vorwerk, Drake Jackson, Chloe Vorwerk;
Siblings, Denise Beilke and her husband, Mark, Lora Waibel, JoDee Kiecker and her husband, Dallas, Kevin Pfeffer and his wife, Lisa, Mike Pfeffer and his wife, Julie, Mark Pfeffer and his wife, Jodi;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Kristi was preceded in death by her Parents, John and Donna Pfeffer; Grandson, Zevian Toffolla; Brother-in-law, Ron Waibel; Father-in-law, Myron Marquardt.
