LeAnn Kroells, age 68, of Hamburg, Minnesota, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 22, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Reformed Church in Hamburg, Minnesota, with interment following at church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 21, 2019, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Reformed Church in Hamburg, Minnesota, and will continue one hour prior the service on Monday.
Obituary
LeAnn Linette Kroells was born on September 20, 1950 in Glencoe, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Albert and Clara (Herrmann) Ische. LeAnn was baptized as an infant on October 15, 1950 and confirmed in her faith as a youth on March 22, 1964, both at Church of Peace in Norwood Young America. She grew up on a farm outside of Young America, Minnesota. She received her education in Norwood Young America, graduating with the Central High School class of 1968.
On February 6, 1971, LeAnn was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Kroells at Church of Peace in Norwood Young America. This marriage was blessed with 3 children, Amy, Erin and Joel. LeAnn and Dick made their home on the family farm in Hamburg, Minnesota. They shared 48 years of marriage.
In addition to being a loving mother and homemaker, LeAnn worked alongside her husband on their farm. She had a knack for raising calves and especially enjoyed vegetable gardening. She also worked 18 years for the U.S. Postal Service with the majority of time spent at Lester Prairie, Minnesota.
LeAnn was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Reformed Church in Hamburg, Minnesota and also enjoyed volunteering her time.
LeAnn enjoyed fishing, traveling, walking, and biking. She also enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, and knitting. LeAnn loved to travel, especially trips with her sister, Linda. She cherished her time spent with her grandchildren, family and friends.
LeAnn passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, at the age of 68 years, 6 months, and 28 days.

Grandchildren, Sydney, Ava, Taylor, McKenzie, Alex, Paige, and Nick;
Sister, Linda Neumann and her husband, Will, of Norwood Young America, MN;
Sister-In-Law, Marion Ische of Glencoe, MN;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
LeAnn is preceded in death by her Parents, Albert and Clara Ische; Brothers, Harlan and Eugene; Sister-In-Law, Shirley Ische, Nephew, Randy Ische.
