Leonard E. Haag, age 64, of Green Isle, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at his home.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, 11:00 A.M., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Isle, with interment following in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, from 10:00-11:00 A.M., one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Leonard Earl Haag was born on June 10, 1960, at the hospital in Arlington, Minnesota. He was the son of Maynard and Lucille (Zellmann) Haag. Leonard was baptized at the hospital on June 10, 1960, by Pastor Jean Paul Zenke from the Church of Peace in Norwood, Minnesota, and later confirmed in his faith as a youth on June 2, 1974, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Isle, Minnesota. He received his education in Arlington-Green Isle and graduated from Arlington-Green Isle High School in the class of 1978.
Leonard was a lifelong crop and cattle farmer. Leonard was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Green Isle.
Leonard enjoyed snowmobiling when he was young. He loved watching old western movies and TV shows. He enjoyed tending to the cattle and caring for his beloved cats. He enjoyed relaxing with a drive around the farm on the Gator. Most of all, he enjoyed socializing with family and friends.
Leonard passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at his home in Green Isle at the age of 64 years, 10 months, and 9 days. Blessed be his memory.

Leonard was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Maynard and Lucille Haag; Brother, Larry Haag; Sister, Cynthia (Haag) Huber.
