Leroy E. Winterfeldt, age 72, of Darwin, Minnesota, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at Meeker Manor Rehabilitation Center in Litchfield, Minnesota.
Services will be held at a later date.
Obituary
Leroy Ervin Winterfeldt was born on February 12, 1947 in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Ervin and Lillian (Dennin) Winterfeldt. He attended Stewart Public School. Leroy was enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1967.
Leroy enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He leaves behind his wife, Dorothy (Merkins) Winterfeldt; Children, Kay (Dave) Nastrom of Cambridge, MN, Bryan (Krista) Winterfeldt of Dassel, MN; Grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Nicholas, Megan, Sara and Izzy Crist, Curtis and Skylar Nastrom; Great-Granddaughter, Teressa Crist; Sisters, Gladys Markgraf of Buffalo Lake, MN, Donna Loncorich of Brownton, MN; Sister-In-Law, Pam Wendlandt of Fairfax, MN; Brother-In-Laws, Peter (Linda), Donald, Robert (Ann), William Merkins of Hutchinson, MN, Paul Merkins of Stewart, Ronald (Marilyn) Merkins of Georgetown, KY, Dean Merkins, of Lineville, AL; Many Nieces and Nephews.
