Linda Marie Willoby

Obituary

Linda Marie Willoby was born on November 5, 1950, in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Winfred and Bernice (Olson) Eastep. Linda was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at Arlington Hills Methodist Church in St. Paul.  She received her education in St. Paul, and was a graduate of the J.A. Johnson High School. Linda continued her education at Bethesda Lutheran Hospital School of Practical Nursing.

She was once married to Karl Schaller on March 2, 1974, and they were blessed with two children, Charles and Steven.  On September 28, 2000, Linda was united in marriage to Thomas Richards in Roseville, Minnesota. They shared 7 years of marriage together until Thomas passed away in 2007.  Linda lived in several different cities throughout the years including, St. Paul, Cottage Grove, Apple Valley, Maple Grove and Eden Prairie.  On June 28, 2013, Linda and Rick Willoby were united in marriage in Hutchinson, Minnesota. They resided in Hutchinson. 

Following her education, Linda worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, Minnesota.  She continued working as an LPN with Health East Home Care Agency until she retired.   

Linda attended CrossPoint Church in Hutchinson.

Linda enjoyed volunteering and helped out with Meals on Wheels.  She also enjoyed walking, Bone Builders at the Senior Center, yoga, traveling and teaching Awana at church.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.

Linda passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, September 24, 2017, at her home in Hutchinson, at the age of 66 years.  She was beloved by everyone.

Linda is preceded in death by her Parents, Winfred and Bernice Eastep; Spouse, Thomas Richards.
