Lorraine Mueller, age 96, of Gaylord passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019, at Oak Terrace Heath Care Center in Gaylord.
Memorial Service will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at United Church of Christ in Gaylord with interment in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Gaylord.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019, from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the church.

Obituary
Lorraine Marilyn Mueller was born on August 20, 1922, in Winthrop, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Glenn and Edna (Peterson) Johnson. Lorraine was baptized as an infant at the Congregational Church in Winthrop and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at the First Congregational Church in Gaylord. She received her education at the Gaylord High School.
On August 2, 1942, Lorraine was united in marriage to Edward F. Mueller at the Congregational Church in Gaylord. After their marriage, the couple resided in Gaylord. Lorraine and Edward were blessed with three children. She was employed at Rosenberg’s Crystal Foods and M.G. Waldbaums, retiring in 1987. Lorraine was a loving mother and homemaker. Lorraine and Edward shared 38 years of marriage before his passing in 1981.
Lorraine was a member of the United Church of Christ in Gaylord and a member of the Priscilla Circle. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for more than 50 years.
Lorraine enjoyed gardening, flowers, feeding and watching birds, baking, having coffee with neighbors and birthday clubs. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
When she needed assistance with her daily care, Lorraine became a resident of Oak Terrace Health Care Center and passed away there on Thursday, June 13, 2019, at the age of 96 years. Blessed be her memory.

Great Grandchildren, Beth Tessmer, Sarah Tessmer, Max Mueller, Alex Williams, and Addison Mueller;
Sisters, Mary Seeman of Arlington, MN, and Karen Erickson and her husband, Ray of Elida, OH;
Brother-In-Law, Jim Pickett of Preston, MN;
Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her Parents, Glenn and Edna Johnson; Husband, Edward Mueller; Sisters, Elaine Pickett, Lavonne Manthey and her husband, Earl; and Daughter-In-Law, Linda Mueller; Brother-In-Law, Don Seeman.
