Deepest sympathies to Louie’s family. He was a great friend to my brother and our family. My memories of Louie go back to the early 70s and they are fond memories. He came with us a few times and visited when our mom was in HCMC, that meant a lot!

Big City and Melissa here, Big Lou – and his big smile and bigtime energy will be missed. City always kept in touch with him and was eager to share updates on their conversations. We’ll be in Atlanta that weekend and so sorry to miss the service. We’ll send up prayers for all who loved him and will feel his loss. If friends are allowed at Fort Snelling we would love to be included. Thank you.

We are So Very Sorry to hear about the loss of Lou. We meet Lou through a friend of ours that also drag races. Lou was so full of life and fun. One time many years ago when Lou was at Brainerd International Raceway there was a sign on the grandstand that read this Bud’s For You. I made a big L on a paper bag and someone climbed up and put the L over the B do it read this Bud’s For Lou. When Lou seen the sign he got a big kick out of it. So here Lou cheers to you. Sorry we won’t be able to make it but we hold on to all the memories and will keep you in our heart and prayers. Heaven just gained a wonderful angel. RIP Lou.
