Lucille M. Wehking, age 90, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Cedar Crest Estates in Silver Lake, Minnesota.
Private Family Interment will be held.
Obituary
Lucille Margaret Wehking was born on August 26, 1933, in Hector, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Edwin and Frieda (Braun) Ulrich. Lucille was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth both at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. She received her education in Buffalo Lake, and was a graduate of the Buffalo Lake High School Class of 1951.
On June 18, 1954, Lucille was united in marriage to LuVerne Wehking at Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake. This marriage was blessed with one daughter, Debbie. They shared 59 years of marriage until LuVerne passed away on April 26, 2014.
Lucille and LuVerne farmed for 10 years just north of Buffalo Lake before moving to Lakeside, Minnesota, where they ran the Lakeside Creamery for 8 years. They lived on Lake Erie for 20 years where Lucille worked as a bookkeeper at the Dassel Creamery. When Lucille and LuVerne moved to Hutchinson, she was employed part time at Braun’s Clothing Store until it closed. Lucille was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Lucille enjoyed riding horseback, playing golf, and watching all sports. She especially enjoyed company of neighbors, friends, and family or coffee or lunch. Lucille was extremely proud of her family.
Lucille passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, at Cedar Crest Estates in Silver Lake, Minnesota, at the age of 90 years.

Daughter, Debbie Bell of Sandy, UT;
Grandson, Michael Bell and his wife, Emily of Sandy, UT;
3 Great Grandchildren;
Sisters-in-law, Carol Ulrich,
Gladys Ulrich;
Many other relatives and friends.
Lucille is preceded in death by her Parents, Edwin and Frieda Ulrich; Husband, LuVerne Wehking; Brothers, Gerald Ulrich, James Ulrich and his wife, Monnie, Dennis Ulrich and his wife, Norma; Brother-in-law, Alfred Radtke; Nephew, Randy Ulrich; Parents-in-law, Martin and Rose Wehking.

My deepest sympathies! Lucille was such a kind hearted lady. I remember when her and the hubby would help deliver flowers on Valentine’s Day with my dad! We had such a good time! May you find comfort in all the beautiful memories you’ve shared.
