Lyle Henry Kressin, age 82, of Biscay, passed away, September 3, 2018, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson with interment in the Saint John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 4:00- 7:00 P.M. at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Lyle Henry Kressin was born on June 9, 1936, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Henry Kressin and Hilma Othilda Boeder. Lyle was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills, Minnesota. He attended the Immanuel Lutheran School through eighth grade.
On August 5, 1955, Lyle was united in marriage to Joan MaryAnn Murphy at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills. This marriage was blessed with three children, Lorriane Carda, Dale Kressin and Lloyd Kressin. Lyle and Joan resided in Biscay.
Lyle was a lifelong farmer. Lyle was a member of Peace Lutheran Church
Lyle enjoyed farming and taking care of his horses. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.
Lyle passed away on September 3, 2018, at the age of 82 years.

Daughter, Lorraine Carda and her husband, Larry, of Brook Park, Minnesota;
Sons, Dale Kressin and his wife, Connie of Shawnee, Oklahoma,
Lloyd Kressin and his wife, Denise, of Glencoe, Minnesota;
Grandchildren, Travis Kressin, of Minneapolis, MN, Lance Kressin, of Hutchinson, MN, Lee Kressin, of Hutchinson, MN, Cortney Kressin, of Minneapolis, MN;
Stepchild, Michael Carda and his wife, Sarah, of Mora, Minnesota;
Great Granddaughter, Lillian Kressin;
Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Lyle is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Theodore and Augusta Kressin, Frank and Ida Boeder; Parents, Henry and Hilma Kressin.
