Marilyn Christensen Denler says
Growing up living on James St. and going to the same church our parents became good friends. The home builders was a group for the young families in the church and was fun for the parents and kids. I remember picking raspberries for your mom and she paid us, but I think we ate almost as many as we picked. Many times my mom drove us to the grocery store where Ace Hardware now is located. I don’t remember Lyle going with, but we three had to wait in the car while our moms shopped; usually we’d each get a box of Cracker Jacks for not complaining about the wait. Lots of good memories of growing up years.
Lee and Bob and families, may you find comfort in the memories you have made in the many years you’ve been blessed to have your mom.
Sincerely, Marilyn Christensen Denler
