Mark has been a pillar for curling enthusiasts. I, being one of them, know he worked hard to promote the sport of curling throughout the Twin Cities. I am saddened he has left this world much sooner than he and many would expect. My heart and prayers go out to his family and all whom he endeared as friends. Please let the St. Paul Curling Club know when and where his Celebration of Life will take place. Thank you.

Dear Family and Friends, Mark was our neighbor in the cul du sac and we our so sorry to hear of Mark’s passing. Mark shared his lawn mower and his landscaping knowledge with me on many occasions. His landscaping inspired my own landscaping. He will be very much missed in the neighborhood. Please contact me if there’s anything I can do to assist with the house. I’m retired and I know my way around the garage. Sincerely, Mr Kim Havey & Mr. Mike Bisping

We knew Mark through Gopher football. When we moved our seats to section 213, Mark was the guy sitting behind us. He wasn’t a shy guy and he seemed to love to tease to those of us sitting in front of him. Last year we had a great time with Amy and Mark at the UCLA game in CA . When we said goodbye after the last Gopher home game, saying “see you next year” we could have never imagined that it was our final good bye.
Mark was full of life, loved the Gophers and clearly had created a life filled with friends and fun.
Gopher games won’t be the same without Mark,
Joni and Bruce
